Panama Canal construction – Parallelism between the first canal built between 1907 and 1914 and the one built now between 2009-2014. I was the Construction Manager for the Atlantic side of the Works for 28 months – January 1″ 2010 to April 31 2012-and we were the first to start the concrete works, much earlier than the Pacific, the same as in the 1908 construction when the first pour that occurred was in the Atlantic side of the project.
